PDR vs. Traditional Body Repair: Which Do You Need?

Traditional bodywork becomes the better call when the paint has cracked or chipped at the point of impact, when a dent runs along a sharp body line and has stretched the metal, when there's no way to access the back of the panel without removing major components, or when the damage is severe enough that the metal's original shape can't be coaxed back with pressure alone. In those cases, conventional dent removal — filler, sanding, and paint-matched refinishing — is what actually gets the job done right, and trying to force a paintless fix would just waste your time and ours.

The cost and time difference between the two is real: a straightforward PDR job can often be done same-day for a fraction of what a paint-and-body repair costs, since there's no filler to cure, no paint to mix and match, and no clear coat to bake.
